Our 2025 impact report

Our impact in 2025

No dementia carer should feel isolated, invisible or alone. Our 2025 impact report shares how we made a difference to dementia carers.

I’m proud to share the progress we’ve made for dementia carers across the UK.

While our service is directly improving desperate UK dementia carers’ quality of life, our campaigns are amplifying carers’ voices.

From taking carers’ stories to Downing Street, to meeting individual parliamentarians, we’re ensuring policy makers understand the challenges dementia carers face and the changes they need.
Catherine A’Bear, Chair of Trustees, Dementia Carers Count

Supporting carers

We supported over 8,500 dementia carers in 2025.

This includes counselling sessions and personalised support with clinical issues, advocacy and benefit checks.

98% of carers told us they were ‘satisfied’ or ‘very satisfied’ with our service.

Campaigning with carers

We’ve shared dementia carers’ experiences and needs with policy makers.

We collaborated with other organisations campaigning for changes to health and social care support for unpaid carers.

Moving towards sustainability

Thank you to all our generous supporters who make all of our work possible.
