We believe that dementia carers count, we want everyone who needs our support to receive it, but we can only do this with your help.

Dementia is one of the most urgent public health crises of the 21st Century. With a diagnosis taking place every four seconds, and two million individuals expected to be living with dementia by 2050 in the UK alone, a global spotlight has been cast on the condition.

By supporting Dementia Carers Count with a donation, holding a fundraising, sponsored or challenge event, you are helping us to support dementia carers to attend our free courses which provide a supportive environment for those caring for someone with dementia to learn, connect and receive practical support to feel empowered in their caring role.

Every year we must raise £500,000 to continue our services for those that need us at a challenging time in their lives. We receive no government funding, so your generosity means you are helping to provide a vital service which is only going to be in greater need in the future.

Our fundraising team is here to make your fundraising fun, fulfilling and stress-free. You can fundraise for DCC in any way you choose, and any amount you raise makes a real difference to our work. You can contact us with any questions about fundraising by emailing us or over the phone on 020 3096 7894.

Whether you’re able to give money or time – it all makes a huge, lasting difference to the lives of dementia carers. Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
