Charity Partnerships

Are you looking for a dementia care specialist charity to deliver services, training or bid partnership?

We work with a range of other charitable organisations and social enterprises to deliver services and campaign in coalition, as a dementia charity partner.

It is a huge pleasure to work with Frances and her talented team of health and care professionals at Dementia Carers Count, who deliver high quality, impactful support and training to ensure carers are heard and supported.
Working in partnership with Dementia Carers Count has been an extremely valuable experience, which we recommend without hesitation to other organisations seeking to develop best in class support for dementia carers.

Case study: Consortium bid partner for Birmingham commission

Working together to support dementia carers in Birmingham

We’re a commissioned partner within the Birmingham Carers Hub, a consortium of 20 organisations managed by Forward Carers CIC, to deliver support to carers across the city.

The Birmingham Carers Hub supports carers looking after someone with dementia, throughout their caring journey. Together with Age Concern, Age UK and Forward Carers, we provide in-person and online support to dementia carers several times a month. We also provide dementia awareness training to partner organisations within the consortium.

Working with Carers First, a carer’s charity

We provided our extensive knowledge, expertise and insight in supporting dementia carers to Carers First, working to:
• Quality assure dementia specific content for their website and intranet
• Provide free counselling to carers
• Co-design and deliver high-quality training for 80 front-line staff – including focus groups, a learning management module and a half day live Q&A session.

Case study: Campaigning with the Care and Support Alliance

We are members of the Care and Support Alliance

A group of over 60 of Britain’s leading charities campaigning alongside the millions of older people, disabled people and their carers who deserve decent care.

We recently campaigned on social care before the budget – read more about our message to the chancellor here.
