Edinburgh Running Festival 2027

29 and 30 May 2027. This fast and flat course offers breath-taking views of the iconic city of Edinburgh. You can choose between a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k or 5k race.

Saucony London 10K 2027

Sunday 11 July 2027. Take on the most iconic 10K in the capital which takes in some of London’s most famous landmarks – including Westminster Bridge, The London Eye, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus and Big Ben.

Whether you’re taking on 26.2 miles or something shorter, every place helps us continue supporting dementia carers.

You can browse our featured events above to see what’s currently available and we also have access to places for hundreds of running events, which you can browse on our Run for Charity pages.

If the event you want to run in isn’t listed above please contact us to discuss what you have in mind and we’ll be more than happy to help.

Once you’ve chosen an event to take part in, the first step is to set up a fundraising page via JustGiving.

From there, it’s over to you to train and fundraise in the lead-up to race day — and our team is on hand throughout to support you all the way.

Not at all. Many of our runners take on their first ever marathon or 10k with Dementia Carers Count, and you don’t need any prior experience to sign-up. What matters most is your enthusiasm for the cause and your commitment to training and fundraising.

When you sign up to run for Dementia Carers Count you will receive:

  • A dedicated member of the fundraising team to support you from the start until the finish line and beyond
  • Training plans
  • A fundraising guide, as well as fundraising advice, hints and tips in the build up to the event
  • Your very own branded Dementia Carers T-shirt or vest
  • A range of fundraising materials (collection buckets, posters, balloons etc.) to make any events you hold look amazing

We understand that fundraising doesn’t always go exactly to plan, and we’re here to support you throughout — not just chase a number. If you’re concerned about reaching your target, get in touch with our team as early as possible; we can offer extra fundraising ideas and support to help you get there.
