New partnership with Dementia Research UK
Supporting more dementia carers
Thanks to Dementia Research UK
We’re delighted to have been awarded funding from Dementia Research UK so we can support more dementia carers.
With four in five dementia carers reaching crisis point, it’s so important that carers can access information, support and advice to help them cope.
We’re delighted to have been awarded funding from Dementia Research UK and to be working in partnership with them to ensure that unpaid dementia carers get the support they need.
Thanks to Dementia Research UK we will be able to reach more dementia carers and we’ll be working together to raise awareness of available support. Sakinah Hassan, Trusts and Fundraising Manager, Dementia Carers Count
Supporting dementia carers through partnership
We’re delighted to be working with Dementia Research UK, bringing together shared ambition, expertise and passion to make a difference to dementia carers.
We’ll be working closely with Dementia Research UK to raise awareness of the help, support and information available to dementia carers — ensuring more families feel seen, heard and supported.
Our collaboration will help us continue our vital work supporting dementia carers across the UK, enabling us to respond flexibly to their needs and the challenges they face every day.
About Dementia Research UK
Dementia Research UK is a grant-making charity dedicated to supporting research into the nature, causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and care of all forms of dementia, as well as research into the support and services that people with dementia need.
Our key aim is to fund initiatives that deepen understanding of dementia and make a meaningful difference to the lives of all those affected.
On behalf of everyone at Dementia Research UK, I’m delighted to welcome Dementia Carers Count as one of our newly funded partners. Your commitment to supporting those who care for people living with dementia closely aligns with our mission to drive meaningful change through research and collaboration.
We’re excited to work together, combining our strengths to improve understanding, resources, and support for families affected by dementia across the UK. Lucy Reynolds, Dementia Research UK
