If you need ideas for fundraising have a look at our A-Z of ideas – there are so many opportunities for making a difference. Here are a few other ways which can make a difference.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a government scheme which allows charities to claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated – at no extra cost to you. You’ll need to be eligible and we can only claim Gift Aid on certain donations.

If you’re a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and basic rate on your donation.

You’ll need to give us permission to claim Gift Aid on your donations

Amazon Smile

Dementia Carers Count is a registered charity on AmazonSmile, the charity arm of Amazon.co.uk

By simply by registering at smile.amazon.co.uk you can donate 0.5% of purchases* made through the site to DCC. Here’s how you can sign up:

With eBay for Charity you can support Dementia Carers Count when you buy items on eBay.

You can add a donation every time you shop or you can sell items through the Community Selling or Direct Selling option – this means you can choose what proportion you wish to donate to us through your sale.
