He has served as associate medical director, college tutor and foundation programme director. He has led his teams to national honours including his Care Home Pathway Team winning Royal College of Psychiatrists Annual Award in 2020 after his Liaison Psychiatry Team was shortlisted for the same award in 2015. He has published in esteemed journals on various aspects of dementia and delirium and has written the fictional book ‘A Way With The Fairies’, a story about an eight-year old whose father is diagnosed with dementia. He is interested in theatre and cricket, and he is a runner and has hiked to EBC and Kilimanjaro.
