Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a government scheme which allows charities to claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated – at no extra cost to you. You’ll need to be eligible and we can only claim Gift Aid on certain donations.

If you’re a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and basic rate on your donation.

Amazon Smile

Dementia Carers Count is a registered charity on AmazonSmile, the charity arm of

With eBay for Charity you can support Dementia Carers Count when you buy items on eBay.

You can add a donation every time you shop or you can sell items through the Community Selling or Direct Selling option – this means you can choose what proportion you wish to donate to us through your sale.

How your fundraising can help

£10 – will cover the cost of a Live Online Learning Session for a carer

£25 – will provide tea, coffee and a chance for carers to get to know each other at a face-to-face course

£75 – will provide an online virtual coaching or counselling session for a carer

£125 – will cover the cost of our one-day course for a carer

£250 – will support the ongoing work of the Virtual Carers Centre, in the creation of new blogs, videos and articles which are supporting carers remotely.

£300 – will cover the cost of one of our associate practitioners who facilitate our courses for a day

£650 – will cover the cost of our three-day course for a carer

£2,500 – will cover the cost of our one-day course for up to 20 carers

£11,700 – will cover the cost of our three-day course for up to 20 carers
