What if…technology could help you care?
We’re partnering with Amazon Alexa to develop a visual guide for dementia carers, showing how Alexa could help with some caring responsibilities and we need your views.
Your involvement is an opportunity to help other dementia carers who could benefit from using technology to support them in their caring role. Julia Mazorodze, Director of Communications & Growth, Dementia Carers Count
Join our online focus group
We’re inviting dementia carers and former carers to join an online focus group for a two hour session at the end of April to hear your thoughts about using voice activated technology (for example, Alexa, Google Home or Apple’s Siri) to support you in your caring role.
What we’ll be discussing
- If you’ve used voice-activated technology (for example to set reminders, or for entertainment, or to check in on a person with dementia)
- What would you like voice-activated technology to help with, especially in your caring role
- Any challenges you’ve found, or things you’d be worried about
- Times when it has worked well
All participants selected for the focus group will receive either an Amazon Alexa or Amazon vouchers as a thank you for taking part.
