Robin Hood Half Marathon

Event TypeHalf Marathon
Date29 September 2024
LocationNottingham
Registration Fee£41.60
Fundraising Target£150

The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK.

The course itself is great for both seasoned runners and beginners alike – for beginners, whose key objective is to complete the course, to more regular long distance event runners, looking to beat their personal best time. It is a single lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic free course. The race starts and finishes in Victoria Embankment and is undulating, so not all flat. There are a couple of inclines at the start of the route, whilst your legs are more up for it (Mile 2, 4 and 6).

JustGiving

Kick-start your fundraising by setting up a JustGiving page. You can easily share your page with your friends, family and colleagues on social media and email to spread the word. Plus everything happens automatically – the money you donate is sent to us, Gift Aid collected, and your sponsors thanked. Job done!

If you can and feel comfortable to, we recommend that you use the ‘story’ section on your page to explain why you’re taking on your challenge for Dementia Carers Count. We’ve found that sharing your story will inspire people to support you and help you reach your fundraising goals. You can keep track of how much you’ve raised, and post training updates on your page so that your friends and family can see how well you’re doing. The more you update and share your JustGiving page, the more donations you’ll receive.
