Campaign with us

Campaign with us for better support for family carers

Every day we support family and friends looking after someone with dementia. We hear their frustrations and their worries when they cannot get the support and advice they so greatly need.

We will always be here for family carers, offering help however we can, but we know family carers need more.

It is vital that the decision makers listen to and meet the needs of family carers. Together, in our campaigning community, we intend to push for a better society for family and friends looking after someone with dementia.

Can you help us?

We will be taking our recommendations to decision makers to let them know what needs to change and encourage them to speak up for dementia carers.

Your political representatives are always more likely to act when they hear from their constituents, and this is where you come in!

Please email our report to your MP and ask them to raise the challenges facing dementia carers in Parliament.

Whether you are a current dementia carer, have cared for someone with dementia or simply believe carers should be better supported please tell decision makers why this matters to you.

We handed in our open letter to the Minister of State for Social Care

Over 1500 people signed our open letter demanding the urgent publication of a long-term, fully funded carer’s strategy for carers in England.

We will continue to campaign for a carer’s strategy. Please look out for new activity in the new year.
