An introduction to the multiple factors which affect a person’s experience of dementia or the role of being a carer which includes neurology, physical health, biography, personality, and the social environment in which we live.

- Gain a better understanding of your friend or family member.

- Understand why no two people with dementia have the same experience.
- Spend time with experienced healthcare professionals who will answer your questions in a safe, supportive environment.

Booking
We ask you to book to ensure we know who is attending the sessions.
The small, informal groups ensure that everyone has the chance to ask questions and connect with other carers. There will be time built in to reflect on the information learned and, if you choose to, discuss how it relates to your own situation.
Each session lasts up to 1.5 hours. You will also receive a copy of the presentation after the session.
