This session will be led by Alex Stirling
Music can provide connection and a shared enjoyable experience for the carer and a person living with dementia, particularly when other communication or activities are more challenging. This session will explore the benefits of music and ways in which it can be used in everyday situations.
This session is for you if:
- you would like to learn about the role of music when supporting someone with dementia
- you would like your questions around music addressed in a safe, supportive environment by healthcare professionals with experience of supporting people with dementia and their families
- you want meet other people who are supporting a friend or family member with dementia in a similar situation
We don’t want anyone to be excluded from our services and so we can continue to provide them for free we invite you to donate to our charity if you are able to. All donations, big or small, make a huge difference and will help us support more family carers when they need it most.
