Our carers spoke to Sky News

On the 26th of September Sky news came to speak to the family carers attending our three-day, residential Dementia Carers Support Course – How to Survive and Thrive.
With little notice our amazing carers stepped up and spoke to Sky news about the impact of caring on their working lives. This report also features some new research undertaken by Cebr for the Alzheimer’s Society, stating the cost to UK businesses of people having to leave their jobs or cut down their working hours in order to care for someone with dementia is £3.2billion a year.
