Have you reached crisis point? Text CARE to 85258

It is not easy asking for help but you are not alone. Everyday can be difficult as a carer but the summer months are particularly difficult. The news is of summer holidays you may not be able to take, neighbours, friends go away, regular support groups close their doors.
But, you are not alone.
Our text service is here to help when you feel you’ve reached your limits. Staffed by trained volunteers, they’re on hand 24 hours a day to help you reach a calmer, safer place. The service is free, and texts won’t appear on your bill. It’s an anonymous, confidential and judgement free service designed to help you plan a way out, when you feel you may have no-where left to go.

Our text service is an emergency, de-escalation service. Although it can’t help you with dementia related issues, the volunteers will help you deal with the immediate crisis and point you towards resources to help you cope better.
